The SmartReader creates a universal, low-cost and robust “air interface” between the RFID-SmartCard and computer systems. The SmartReader contains all the components for reading and coding SmartCards in a stable, die-cast aluminium housing.

A special operating system ensures that the user can access all common chip types using the same commands. The Axess multiapplication firmware is integrated.

Integrated mid-range antenna, range of up to 2,5 in.
Backlighted LC display, red/green LED signal light audible signal, microcontroller with real-time clock and flash data storage
RS 232 or optional LAN interface, special versions with Omron or Wiegand interface
Reads ISO 15693 & ISO 14443 transponders
Firmware for Blacklist/Whitelist identification, SmartAccess coding or online check

TUBEMOUNT

Installation on 2,36 in. tube for applications in public
transport systems

WALLMOUNT

Version for wall mounting for door lockers (switchbox for coded control of door closers)

DESKTOP

Desktop device with RS232 interface for read/coding stations
